Frequently Asked Questions
Useful information before your first class.
What should I wear?
Please check our uniform Requirements HERE.
Girls' hair must be in a neat, flat ballet bun for all classes, secured with hair nets and hair pins.
Short hair must be bobby pinned back off the face and neck.
A scrunchie, bun wrap or ribbon may be worn.
Please remove all jewellery and watches before your dance class (small earrings are ok for class however must be removed for exams and performances).
What do I need to bring?
Check the uniform requirements for your class (above), ensure you have all the required shoes, and don't forget to bring a bottle of water and a smile!
Please wear street clothes over your dance wear both to and from class. Students should never leave the building wearing only a leotard.
How many students are in each class?
This varies from class to class, however all of our regular classes are capped at 20 students.
Are parents/carers allowed to watch?
Our studios are dancer and teacher-only zones across all age groups.
We do not allow parents or carers to observe our classes so that students can maintain their focus on the teacher. This allows students to get the most out of their classes.
We will occasionally have Open Days, where parents will be invited to watch their child's class, and we will also have a concert at the end of the year where you will get to see your dancer shine on stage!
